Zalka Drglin, Ljubljana, Slovenia, has Ph. D. in women’s studies and feminist theory. She is researcher, working on different projects on National Institute of Public Health, her topics are maternity care, perinatal mental health problems, trauma, abuse, women’s health, women’s (health) rights, violence, midwifery, quality of maternity care, breastfeeding, ethic of care, birthing culture(s) and their short- and long-term consequences on babies, women, families and society. She is a lecturer at Faculty of Health Care Angele Boškin, author of publications, scientific and popular articles; the leader of the programs in Natural Beginnings Society; consultant for perinatal mental health problems.
